L\u2019Escala <\/a>received, on the 14th March, the accreditation of the Government to include the Salt Festival in the catalogue, Patrimoni Festiu de Catalunya. As a result of this accreditation various events were held as the official document \u00a0was delivered by the Director General of Archives, Libraries, Museums and Heritage, Joan Pluma. There was also \u00a0the presentation of a new issue of the magazine, \u00a0El Fil de la Mem\u00f2ria, (The thread of memory) dedicated especially to the Salt Festival.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, an expert in cultural heritage from \u00a0UNESCO, Luis Garcia, led a conference entitled “El patrimoni immaterial, un valor a al\u00e7a” (“The intangible heritage, a rising value.” ) The conclusion of the event at the Museum of \u00a0Anchovy and Salt was a reading of poems dedicated to the Festa de la Sal that over time have been created by authors and artists like Enric Casasses, N\u00faria Esponell\u00e0, Ramon Manent, Josep Tero, Anna Almazan …..<\/p>\n

This was followed by a lunch at the Sala Poliavent with over 300 attendees with the \u00a0participation of musicians and singers from The Salt Festival and a dance took place in memory of Oriol Canals and Les Granotes de la bassa, with the international cobla orchestra Els Montgrons.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
